Willkommen, Bienvenue, Welcome

Why I am here? It's simple: I didn't want to be the last one on my block without a blog. Fortunately, my block, although heavily urban-renewed, still has a crack dealer or two who, I'm guessing, probably aren't blogging just yet. Which means... I win! Yay!

This is the story of a young heart trapped in an abused body, sharing real estate with a diseased mind in a neighborhood best described as tortured soul-adjacent. In other words, a comedy of the kind only Hollywood could create (though usually only behind the scenes), so I figured I'd drag the whole dog and pony show to the place of it's spiritual birth. Et in Arcadia, ego. Only this Arcadia has starving schizophrenics mixing with mountebank millionaires, gyms equipped with outdoor smoking areas, and more scripts in development per square inch than any other place on Earth. Paradise of a different kind for a different kind.

If you care, here I am. If you don't care, good for you. Just don't expect me to care, then, because I haven't played that game since July, 2004. But that's another story. And there's a lot more where that came from.
